WARNING: some RUDE WORDS, and a generally ignorant attitude.
-
The most ignorant heavy rock band in the Manawatu, Simnock on Steel performs once every ten years.
SOS's primal heaviness throws the Earth off it's axis, so we try not to get together too often.
The personnel on this album:
Stove - that guitar
Jay - this guitar
Joice - drumbelinas
The Shitter - vocals
Bing Turkby - bass and vocals
Simnock On Steel finally got round to recording their stuff after playing for a few years, then not playing for a while. They once supported No Means No at the Wild Horse Saloon.
Another time, Bing's bass amp broke and no-one noticed during the whole set.
They hold the world record for Most Ignorant Heavy Rock Band, but can't remember where they put the commemorative statuette.
